| Here are some news that touch at the same time on the blogosphere and on the political world: the Québec youth wing of the Liberal Party of Canada has dissociated itself from its former official blog, Fuddle Duddle. The executive of the Young Liberals of Canada (Quebec) voted a resolution to suspend its blog Fuddle Duddle. However, since the YLC(Q) apparently does not actually own the blog, Fuddle Duddle will continue to be published unofficially.
The straw that broke the camel back seems to have been this post, in which YLC(Q) policy director Antonio DiDomizio argued that the next Liberal leader should be bilingual. This post must have been a bad surprise for YLC(Q) president Brigitte Legault, who supports unilingual anglophone Belinda Stronach for the Liberal leadership. Heh. What's funny about this is that Legault was the one who kept accusing Harper of "muzzling" debate among his caucus. Oh well.
FYI: Laurent, I don't know about you, but 5 minutes after reading that blog...let's just say I have new found respect for Quebec Sovereignists for actually having to deal with people like this. :P
