I've seen the argument that subliminal advertising doesn't work elsewhere since this story broke.
I have no comment on the effectiveness of so-called "subliminal advertising."
That doesn't mean that there's something suspicious about the Liberal ad. Just because something doesn't work doesn't mean somebody isn't going to be stupid enough try it.
As the Republicans were made to explain their infamous "RATS" ad from the 2000 presidential campaign so ought the Liberals be made to do the same in this case.
Putting butter on a burn doesn't help one heal yet people still do it.
