The story goes back to the month of November 2000, when a communications firm chosen by the Liberals, P.R. Média, has circulated throughout Quebec with a truck bearing the colors of the Liberal Party of Canada to promote the party in the context of its electoral campaign.

But, the publicity firm P.R. Média, which organized the campaign, had recently been founded by a man named Pierre Gagnon who, eight months earlier, had been convicted of pimping by a tribunal. This man also had a financial partner who is a Hells Angels sympathizer, Robert Baillargeon (aka Ti-Bras), arrested last year by the policed and charged with usury lending in an other affair.

L'histoire remonte au mois de novembre 2000, lorsqu'une entreprise de communication retenue par les libéraux, P.R. Média, a fait circuler un camion arborant les couleurs du Parti libéral du Canada à travers le Québec pour faire la promotion du parti dans le cadre de sa campagne électorale.

Or, l'agence de publicité P.R. Média, qui organisait la campagne, venait tout juste d'être fondée par un dénommé Pierre Gagnon qui, huit mois auparavant, s'était rendu coupable devant les tribunaux de proxénitisme. Cet homme avait également comme partenaire financier un sympathisant des Hells Angels, Robert Baillargeon (dit Ti-Bras), arrêté l'an dernier par la police et accusé de prêt usuraire dans une autre affaire.
